Top 5 Arizona Pickleball Complexes

by Kelly Campbell

We know that pickleball has been the fastest-growing sport in the US for over two years, but some states have capitalized on pickleball popularity more than others. Arizona, famous for year-round sunny, dry weather and breathtaking mountain views, is also known as one of the largest pickleball hubs in the country. The Dink even ranked the state #3 on their list of The Top 10 Pickleball States. With ample outdoor and indoor pickleball courts and numerous clubs and leagues, The Grand Canyon State is a pickleball-lover’s paradise. Trackithub also included Phoenix in our list of the Top Pickleball Vacation Destinations in the US

Pickleball popularity among Arizona residents encourages the state to keep up with the overall demands for pickleball in the country. Arizona has been home to numerous USA Pickleball-endorsed tournaments, including the Association of Pickleball Professionals (APP) Tour and USA Pickleball Southwest Diamond Regional. There are hundreds of courts and leagues across the state––many residents even opt to build pickleball courts in their backyards. Popular resorts, such as the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort and Spa in Phoenix, now use pickleball to attract visitors by adding courts and resources to their locations.

Trackithub pulled together a list of some of the best pickleball facilities in Arizona. Whether you’re an expert on pickleball rules or are just getting started, read on and see how these Arizona sites invigorate the growth of pickleball state and country-wide.
